I unknowingly sat at a computer next to Dexter...He was on his cell, but when he hung up, he turned, looked at me, and said, "You're the girl I fell in love with!" I immediately thought, ' Oh shit!' He goes, "You know, I love you." EEW! CREEPY! He's not great looking, and even sounds creepy - but regardless of what he looks / sounds like, I would STILL think he was creepy! Next time he talks to me, I'm gonna say something like; "You can't love me, you don't even know me! Even if you DID know me, you wouldn't even LIKE me! You're annoying, and obnoxious; don't MAKE me go bi-polar on your ass! And no, it's NOT 'cuz you're black, you're just fucking ANNOYING!"

I'm a truck unloader @ Kohl's Department Store @ Southridge Mall - which is luckily 1 mile away from my house. I walk if the weather is ok – which is about a 20 minute walk...I'm actually getting more hours - after asking since I started (2 months ago). I'm scheduled for more, and I get other people's. The other people have a full time job as well, Mike has two! He works for Bank Mutual AND the Brewers (Miller Park Crew)! Anyways, I volunteered for a day and worked alone, for 8 hours! Hello MONEY! :-D So I took Mike’s Saturday. I guess Sue - the scheduler - figured out that I'm and fast and efficient worker, who wants more hours when everyone else is requesting off, or just not showing up! I have told them however, that I cannot work on Tuesdays or Wednesdays because I have classes, and they haven't screwed that up yet! For the first time at any job!! WOOT!! This is the first job I REALLY like, and enjoy doing - and I want to work here for a long time! 1) Its fun! 2) I like the job, and the people. I even dropped out of my church choirs, BOTH singing AND Bells! That's major - Music is #2 in my book! Here's a cool story - the woman that did our orientation started as Christmas / holiday / seasonal help - 11 years ago! She said the main reason she stayed, were the people!!! SWEET! Granted I only get $6.75 / hour...but on Thanksgiving, I'll get $7 (90 days after my first day of work)! That’s about an extra $1.37 a night, and if I keep working 5 nights a week, that’s an extra $6.88 per week. *average net.* Then all I have to “worry” about is my license. I need to get it ($50) then prove insurance, and have at least half of the deductible ($250). Ok, y’all know that I owe my parents money. I had a $900 debt to them for about a year – then by May, it was $700, how sad! Now, 5 months later, it’s down to $200! I am so proud! The original goal was to pay them by Christmas, at this rate it will be before Thanksgiving! I am giving them the bulk of my checks to do so, because I already did most of my Christmas shopping. I don't idolize money - I just need to pay my parents off, pay my credit card off (no I'm not over my limit), I have to get my license back - hopefully before my birthday 2006 (when it expires)!! And I want to save money to be able to move out...well, once I’m 23 - damn insurance that costs too friggin' much!

I told Melissa how I feel about Steve - her 36-year-old boyfriend. Most people have a problem with the 15 year age difference - I don't...My gripe is she sort-of plans her life around what Steve wants to do...so if I ask her what’s going on 3 days from now, she’ll say, “I don’t know what Steve wants to do.”

I finally told Taylor how I feel - she's my 28-year-old adoptive sister. She is no longer worth even one brain cell!

My classes are fun - mostly. So far in Economics I have an A....Welding I'll probably get a B or C...Contemporary American Society is a B, I think...Math is an easy A...and Theater is an easy B - I like to say...Heh, as if y'all really care! ;-)

I got back in touch with "Zuko" (Katie Zylka). I've known her since 1st grade, had a few 'fall-outs' but we're cool now...

I have a friend named Josh - the only white guy that talks to me outside of class! ;-) He’s quiet, skinny, and in the automotive program!! Man, I gotta talk to that boy, whew! He seems really sweet! I was talking to Zuko, and he was walking by, so I waved. He actually came over, and stood next to me, while Zuko and I were talking; of course, I introduced them but kept talking. He actually stayed there and when I was leaving he left with me, because he was going to lunch and I was headed in that direction for class! How sweet is that?! I just smiled back into my class (we were on break). I think he is just a sweet and soft-spoken guy – you know?! He didn’t want to butt in at all! Just hang out with me…My mom would call him a “nice young man.” I kinda want to give him my phone number, but would that be weird?! GOD – I – HATE this stuff!

lol, Black dudes have been somewhat hittin' on me... ;-) 'Cuz I'm always by the shops, and the computers are by the shops...It was SO funny, when I wore a skirt! I got like 3 times the winks and smiles than ever before, and believe me, I got many! LMAO Ever get the feeling that when you walk past someone, the watch you?! Man I get that a lot, and y’all know I’m not conceded in thinking about how cute I am, ‘cuz I don’t think I am, at ALL!

How’s this for weird: This guy, Dexter (black guy) – sits by me when I’m at a computer at school…says, “Hey, I wanna be your boyfriend.” WHAT?!?!?! WTF!?! and goes on and on about how he loves me – mind you, I have never met this guy before – so I’m saying all this stuff about how I don’t have time for a boyfriend (which is true) and he goes, “It’s because I’m black, isn’t it.” Right away, I think of Joe and Jess – we had a little joke about that…so anyways I’m like, “hell no it isn’t!” And blah blah blah, so as he walks behind me and leaves, He says, and I quote, “You’re breaking my heart, and that’s too bad Emily, because you have such an attractive behind.” I SWEAR that’s what Dexter said!

My Uncle Craig, was diagnosed with a brain tumor in February, and he slowly passed away yesterday. Everyone thought he was sleeping. He was at home, and some family was there. My Uncle Craig, Aunt Debbie, their son Jaime and his wife Yolanda went to the U.S. Open in NY. He LOVED tennis, he taught the L.D. kids at New Berlin West High School, and Debbie was the librarian at the Middle School. He also coached Tennis, some Basketball, and LOVED watching football. I just learned that he PLAYED football when he was in High School! COOL! They are actually putting him in a New Berlin West Tennis warm-up suit! But as everyone is saying, "That was Craig"

Ok, here's my schedule - Tuesdays I go to school @ 8am 'cuz I go with dad - 1) I don't have a car / license, and 2) even if I did, I would still go with dad to save gas $$.

On Tuesdays my first class (Economics) is from 11am-2pm - then dad's off at 2:30pm, we then go home, and have welding class together from 5-7pm. So for 3 hours (8-11am) I can do homework!

Wednesdays, 8am with dad again, and I have Contemporary American Society from 8-11am then 2 hours free (homework time) and then 1-3pm 'basic college math' yea college my A$$! It's going back to Elementary School people!!! Then I have 1.5 hours (more homework time!) Then dad's off at 4:30 pm, we go home and I have Intro. to Theater from 6:30-9:30pm...long days BUT I can get a LOT of homework done, if not finish it! So I can have the rest of the week / end for myself - both housework AND fun!! YEY!

I work at Kohl's Department Store on Thursdays...sadly the trucks come in on Tuesdays and Thursdays...but once it gets closer to the Holiday's I can pick up more hours. $6.75 / hour really sux! I'll have the occasional Sunday though too! On Thursdays I only work from 5-10:30pm. I told Sue, the scheduler that I can work ANY time as long as it doesn't effect Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and she's REALLY nice, so maybe I'll work the overnight schedule. 10:30pm-6am!!! *Crosses Fingers*

so my Spanish class was canceled, good thing they told me THE DAY BEFORE! Thank God I was at school and had to check that my added class was in the computer, but because I added Economics, I'm still full time!!! YEY! I can get insurance and not have to search AGAIN for another class - PLUS now I only have classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays!!! All the easier to find a job, my dears!

Y’all can pick which format you like better, and just read that one! I’m just gonna be cutting and paste-ing them…*yes, I DO use the term “y’all.” :-D

I may miss some things, BUT here ya go:

As some of you know, I have not had contact with my adoptive sister for between 3 and 4 years (yes I am adopted if you did not know). About a month ago, I got a postcard from her…and after writing and editing a 12 page ‘paper’ and “sat on it” for a while; I emailed it to her…there were a few rough spots that needed tweaking etc. BUT now I think it has all been worked out, and we understand each other, and I think we are going to be close again. She may actually be reading this, but NO I am NOT sugar-coating anything…if y’all know me, you know I HATE sugar-coating, well unless it’s a candy or food of some kind…like a jelly doughnut. ;-) 8-P

NWMC (the New Wilmington Missionary Conference – in Pennsylvania) was great OVERALL!! I got to see SOME of you, again…and I met many of you – drama was awesome!…I REALLY wish I had done that sooner! My ankle still hurts…FENN! NO NO NO!!! I’m KIDDING!

Let’s see here…I’m still ‘dating’ Nate, it’s more like hanging out...When I got home from Pennsylvania, Nate came over and gave me 1 dozen red roses! Just ‘cuz he missed me!! Awe! Too bad I was SO not in the mood for people…I mean come on! (For those of you who didn’t go to the New Wilmington Missionary Conference) YOU try spending a week with about 1,200 people – I should think you would want to be left alone too! RIGHT?! I didn’t even wanna be around my parents…well…when DO I….JUST KIDDING!!!! Again…wow, I’m really bad…But seriously, I LOVE my parents…I didn’t even see them all that much that week! 

What else…I’m going back to MATC (Milwaukee Area Technical College) in ‘fall.’ I’m taking: 1) Fundamentals of Arc Welding, 2) Spanish, 3) Introduction to Theatre…heh, 4) (basic college) Math, and 5) Contemporary American Society (Psychology). Can you tell I have NO IDEA of what I want to do with my life?! LOL

I do believe that is all… *music* I believe I do believe, truly I believe it, truly I believe it, truly I believe it! *end music*
